Many people have asked about how they can send care packages and *where.  Here are a list of items that are not available in Malawi and that would also make this missionary nurse VERY happy!

PRE-MALAWI—Do Not Worry

Before I leave for Malawi, there a few things I would like the Lord to work out.  I call it my list of little miracles.

  • Pass NCLEX the 1st timeJuly 3, 2012, I am officially Julie-Anne Marie Satterfield, RN
  • My father’s blessingAugust 1, 2012
  • An opportunity to visit my family prior to departure (Dad, sisters, mom, & granddad)September 26- October 23, I was able to visit most of my sisters and dad living in Florida with a $10 airplane ticket!!! Thank God for sky miles! Though, I don’t have the extra funds to visit my grandfather, mom, and other sister living in Maryland and Hawaii, God still is faithful and answers prayer.
  • New laptop computer (w/DVD/CD, internet, video camera capacity) November 1, Erica P.
  • $270 to repair screen of friends borrowed laptop November 1, Erica P.
  • Canon G 12 10MP digital camera ($379-$450)b I got a Nikon S6300 instead... on sale for $119!  Next time :)
  • Moving/packing expenses & storage, Praise God for wonderful friends :)
